Through our rigorous screening process, the Augusta Police Department has become a people oriented organization providing a wide variety of public safety services to our citizens. We have strived for, and gained, the respect of the public, and the maintenance of this asset is insisted upon in the course of the officer's daily routine duties.

I am proud to lead such a fine group of men and women as they ensure the rights of all citizens either living in, or visiting the City of Augusta.
